Anyone wanting to get into the sports of hunting or target shooting will require a PAL. Even buying ammunition requires the purchaser to have a valid PAL. If you or your family have firearms that you wish to keep in the family, including heirloom firearms, or if you wish to store firearms for friends or family, you must have a PAL.
